I was thrilled to receive an email in April 2004 from toy designer, Kalvin Klundt, who designed and licensed the Crayola Bubble Painter to Crayola.
Kal says that the Crayola Bubble Painter paints with bubbles by adding watercolor paint to bubbles as they are blown off the wand. "It creates some very unusual art and is a lot of fun," he adds. He sent some examples of the artwork that can be done with the painter -- you can see the pictures by clicking to the left.
The Bubble Painter was patented in 1996 and marketed from 1995 to 1998. It takes two AA batteries.
